Experience & Disciplines

  • Building lasting relationships with clients has always been at the core of my professional ethos. During my tenure with Fashion One TV from 2009 to 2014, I played a pivotal role in establishing the network's presence in the UK by fostering strong ties with agencies, brands, and talents. I successfully bridged the gap between Fashion One TV and these entities by negotiating programming airtime, managing image rights, and crafting comprehensive briefs for production teams. This involved not only technical expertise but also a deep understanding of each client's unique needs and goals. My ability to navigate complex legal and creative processes, combined with my passion for collaboration, allowed me to deliver tailored solutions that met and exceeded client expectations. This experience has instilled in me a keen sense of how to build trust and drive successful partnerships, skills that I continue to leverage in my current endeavors.

My client relationship philosophy revolves around active listening and collaboration. I believe that truly understanding a clientโ€™s vision and connecting with them on a personal level is key to delivering results that exceed expectations. Whether working one-on-one or as part of a large team, I prioritise transparent communication and adaptability.

In my experience, flexibility is crucial when working with diverse clients, especially in fast-paced environments where sudden changes often arise. Iโ€™m skilled in adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining the core of the projectโ€™s goals. This allows me to seamlessly integrate feedback and pivot as needed, ensuring that every project evolves into its best possible form.

  • My experience in Marketing and Strategy has been shaped by both my time working for a television network and the creation of my own company, where I had the privilege of collaborating with reputable brands and agencies. This journey has reinforced my belief that strategic vision is the foundation of successful marketing campaigns and partnerships.

During my time with FTV, I was tasked with building their original programming catalogue, which required a deep understanding of the market, audience, and brand positioning. This experience taught me that strategy isnโ€™t just about planning; itโ€™s about crafting stories and experiences that resonate deeply with the audience, setting the stage for long-term engagement.

Building the FTV brand and introducing it to agencies and brands for the first time required a robust, targeted marketing strategy. I worked closely with internal teams to craft an identity that aligned with our core values while ensuring that our messaging was consistent, compelling, and adaptable to different marketing channels. This laid the groundwork for strong partnerships and sustainable growth.

When I transitioned into creating my own company, I leveraged this expertise, combining strategic marketing insightwith creative execution to offer tailored solutions to clients. From creating brand strategies to orchestrating campaigns across multiple platforms, Iโ€™ve worked alongside some of the most recognisable names in the industry. The ability to craft and execute strategies that deliver measurable results has been the cornerstone of my success.

The key to effective marketing strategy lies in being data-driven, creative, and collaborative. I focus on identifying key opportunities and tailoring strategies that are not only innovative but scalable. Listening to clients and understanding their unique needs is central to creating marketing strategies that truly drive growth and visibility, ensuring we stay ahead in an ever-evolving market landscape.

Through years of experience working with agencies, brands, and teams, Iโ€™ve honed my ability to navigate challenges, respond to market shifts, and adapt strategies accordingly. I approach every campaign with the goal of delivering long-term value, creating meaningful connections, and ensuring the brand remains top-of-mind for its target audience.

  • Photography and filmmaking have been at the heart of my creative journey. Over the years, working with a wide range of clients and managing projects from start to finish, Iโ€™ve come to see the camera as a tool for telling authentic stories. Whether itโ€™s creating visual narratives for campaigns or capturing a candid moment, I strive to create images and films that evoke emotion and spark connection.

Every project I take on offers a new opportunity to push the boundaries of my craft. Whether Iโ€™m working on stop-motion campaigns, documenting live events, or crafting cinematic visuals for clients, I draw inspiration from my experiencesโ€”always looking for ways to make my work resonate on a deeper level.

Traveling and working with diverse teams has played a significant role in shaping my perspective. Iโ€™ve learned to embrace natural light, allowing it to guide my visuals and infuse my work with an organic quality that feels both grounded and timeless. In my filmmaking, I focus on subtle camerawork that complements the natural rhythm of the story. The challenge of balancing technical execution with creativity keeps me inspired and eager to refine my style.

I believe that great work comes from listening and adapting to the people you work with, whether youโ€™re collaborating with a client on a commercial shoot or coordinating a large crew for a live event. This adaptability, combined with my passion for storytelling, is what drives me to create visuals that feel authentic and impactful.

From colour grading in post-production to directing a team on set, Iโ€™ve honed my ability to craft both the visual and narrative aspects of a project. Each frame is an opportunity to tell a story, whether itโ€™s for a major brand campaign or a personal project. My approach to photography and filmmaking is driven by the belief that every project is a chance to connect, create, and capture something unique.

  • The process begins with deep collaboration with the client to fully understand their vision, goals, and audience. I start by crafting a clear and concise project brief, ensuring that the core message is defined and the intended impact is clear. From there, I move into storyboarding, where each shot is mapped out to bring the vision to life, taking into account not just the visuals but also how they align with the brandโ€™s identity and values. This is where the heart of the project begins to take shape.

For both FTV and Colour Content, the creation of every video is a journey of refinement. I carefully choose the creative direction, deciding on tone, visual style, and pacing. I then assemble a team of highly skilled professionals cinematographers, designers, editors, and motion artists, to ensure that every element of the video is aligned with the vision. This attention to detail extends to location scouting, casting, and styling, where every decision supports the narrative.

One of the most rewarding aspects of creative direction is seeing a concept evolve from an initial idea to a polished final product. Through collaboration, I guide the team through each stage of the production, from pre-production through to shooting, editing, and post-production. In this process, Iโ€™m hands-on, ensuring that the story weโ€™re telling is both visually compelling and aligned with the clientโ€™s goals.

For me, the storytelling process doesnโ€™t stop when the video is finished. I take great care in colour grading and sound design, understanding that these elements breathe life into the narrative. I work with motion designers to craft visuals that not only enhance the storytelling but also engage the audience in an immersive experience. The final product is one that feels cohesive, impactful, and true to the brand's essence.

Over the years, this process has allowed me to build a track record of successful projects with leading brands and agencies. From FTVโ€™s original programming catalogue to Colour Contentโ€™s tailored brand stories, each project is a new opportunity to push boundaries and deliver something truly remarkable. Iโ€™m driven by the belief that great creative direction isnโ€™t just about making something look good, itโ€™s about making it resonate.

My Journey

โ€œI am, at my core, a storyteller. From the first time I picked up a camera, I was drawn to the quiet power of images and words to connect people across cultures and lived experience. My work has grown across photography, film, creative direction, marketing, entrepreneurship, and shaped by lifestyle, travel and brand storytelling. Every chapter has reinforced a simple belief. Meaningful stories create understanding.

Whether documenting a fleeting moment or shaping a long term narrative, I work with care, curiosity and respect for the human side of every project as a team player.โ€

Early Years and Creative Foundations

My career began early and with intent. At eighteen, I joined Modus Publicity while studying at the University of Westminster, working behind the scenes at London Fashion Week and managing digital content for established names in fashion.

A year later, an unexpected opportunity reshaped everything. At nineteen, I became Content Manager for Europe at Fashion Television. It was a formative period that demanded responsibility, adaptability and humility. I learned how to lead, how to listen, and how to create under pressure while staying grounded.

Working Across a Global Landscape

Over the years that followed, my work grew beyond borders. I created and produced more than two hundred hours of original content, broadcast across ninety markets worldwide, and at twenty two I was appointed Head of Content for Europe and Asia.

This chapter took me across Asia, Europe and further afield, working closely with agencies, institutions and brands within fashion, culture and lifestyle. Operating at this scale deepened my understanding of visual storytelling and reinforced the value of cultural awareness, sensitivity and genuine collaboration.

Pausing to See More Clearly

In 2014, before founding Colour Content, I stepped away from work to travel. Spending over a year in Canada, the United States, the Philippines, China, Kenya and Tanzania shifted my perspective and reminded me of the value of slowing down. That pause created space for reflection and deepened my connection to people, culture and place.

I returned with a clearer sense of purpose and a renewed creative energy.

Building Colour Content and Becoming a Father

In 2016, alongside my creative partner and the mother of my children, I co founded Colour Content. Built on shared values and complementary skills, the company focused on film, photography and post production. Over four years, we delivered campaigns, editorial films and branded content for clients including Wonderland Magazine, Lโ€™Occitane, Heathrow Airport and La Prairie.

It was a period defined by creative trust, long term relationships and purposeful work.

That same year, I became a father. It changed everything. Fatherhood reshaped my priorities, softened my perspective and deepened my sense of responsibility. It taught me patience, presence and the importance of balance, lessons that continue to influence both my life and my work.

Change and New Directions

As the creative industry evolved after COVID, with brands moving away from traditional agency models, we made the considered decision to close Colour Content in 2021.

What followed was a period of reinvention. I moved into entrepreneurial ventures across home services, lifestyle and technology focused ecommerce. These experiences blended creativity with practicality, offering new ways to work with both clients and customers while creating everyday impact.

Each chapter taught me something new about adaptability, resilience and staying open to change.

Family, Travel and Perspective

In 2023, our family grew once again with the arrival of our second child. With two young children in tow, my partner and I decided to embark on a bold adventure, a two year journey across Asia from 2023 to 2025. We travelled through Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines, immersing ourselves in each countryโ€™s culture and way of life.

This family journey was filled with quiet, powerful moments. Watching my children marvel at cherry blossoms in Japan. Wandering through back streets in Hong Kong as neon signs flickered on at dusk. Sharing slow breakfasts in small coastal towns. Learning to rest in places where time seemed to move differently.

Travelling together strengthened us as a family and broadened my perspective as a creator. Experiencing so many cultures through the eyes of a father and storyteller deepened my understanding of what connects people everywhere. It reminded me that every place holds its own rhythm, and that presence matters more than pace.

In 2025, further time in the Philippines, China, Japan and Malaysia allowed us to explore the unfamiliar while returning to places that already felt like home. It was grounding, meaningful and deeply wholesome.

Continuing the Journey

Fatherhood, creativity and travel continue to shape not only my career but the way I see the world. I am constantly learning about patience, resilience and balance. Creativity remains the thread that runs through everything I do, while my experiences across more than thirty countries have broadened my perspective and strengthened my appreciation for cultural nuance.

My journey is ongoing, guided by curiosity and an open mind. I remain committed to growing both personally and professionally. Every chapter adds depth, and every experience informs the work that comes next.
